Fraud and Investigations Unit
Fraud is intentional deception or
misrepresentation made by a person knowing that the deception or misrepresentation could result in some type of benefit to them for which they were not eligible.
Examples of fraud include false reporting or failure to report:
- Household members or a change in household members
- Earnings from employment
- Any type of household income
- Bank accounts, stocks, dividend and IRAs
- Vehicles and property
How Can I Report Fraud?
If you suspect or have knowledge of fraud, you can report it to us by using one of the following methods:

Can I Be Informed of the Results of my Fraud Complaint?
No. Due to strict confidentiality laws, we cannot provide you with information regarding the outcome or specifics of an investigation per Colorado Statue 26-1-114 and Colorado Code of Regulations Volume IV-B-4010.53 and Volume III 3.604.3.
