- When we establish a court order. We will send you a copy of the court orders regarding child support. Additionally, we'll keep you informed of any major actions that we may take. More >
- Not lawyers or advocates for individuals. The attorneys and staff working for the Jefferson County Child Support Program represent the people of the state of Colorado and are not lawyers or advocates for any individual person.
- What we can't handle. The Child Support Program cannot handle visitation, custody, or property settlement issues, including but not limited to, bills, interest or marital debts.
- Retro support prior to court case filing. The Jefferson County Child Support Program will not establish retroactive support for a period of time prior to filing the case with the court. The applicant may handle this issue separately through private counsel.
