Mail-In Ballots
A request for a Mail-In ballot must be received in writing at the County Clerk's Office no later than the close of business seven (7) days before the election in order to receive the ballot by mail.
How to Obtain a Mail-In Ballot:
First, you need to obtain the form to request a mail-in ballot. This may be done one of two ways:

Military & Overseas Voter Information:
If you are a US citizen covered by the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), you may obtain a Voter Registration Form and Mail-In Ballot by completing a Federal Post Card Application (pdf).

Important Deadlines
A request for a Mail-In Ballot must be received in writing at the County Clerk's Office no later than the close of business (seven) 7 days before the election in order to receive the ballot by mail.
The last day to apply for the ballot "in person" at the Jefferson County Elections Division is no later than the close of business on the Friday immediately preceding the Election.
Colorado Law requires that in order for your Mail-In Ballot to be counted it must reach the County Clerk's Office by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 for the Primary Election.
