Evaluation
Clients are evaluated for appropriate level of care. This is based upon the client's current stage of readiness for change. Three levels of groups are available at the Health Department. Clients who are assessed as currently motivated to stop their tobacco use are referred to the Smoke Busters Program. Clients contemplating stopping or who are not ready to stop their tobacco use are referred to the Health Education Program and the Getting Ready to Quit class.

Treatment
The Smoke Busters Program a seven week "no nag, no guilt" program which uses group and individualized interventions designed to be solution, not problem oriented. The program includes the evaluation and nine sessions. Both adult and adolescent groups are available.

The Substance Abuse Counseling Program also provides treatment services for alcohol and other drugs.
