State Historical Fund Grants For Historic Preservation
The State of Colorado provides grant funding from the State Historical Fund for qualifying historic preservation projects. This fund receives its revenue from a tax on gambling in Central City, Blackhawk, and Cripple Creek.
Applications
The Jefferson County Historical Commission is available to review grant applications and assist applicants for projects in unincorporated Jefferson County. To allow time to provide assistance, applicants should contact the Jefferson County Historical Commission at least one month prior to the state's application deadline.
The State Application deadlines are usually April 1 and October 1 each year.
